Stinger Solo Exhibits Again at Stover Mill Gallery in Bucks County
John Stinger, well known impressionist painter and a Stewartsville, NJ resident for over 25 years, is invited to exhibit again in September at the beautiful Stover Mill Gallery located along the Delaware River in Erwinna PA in Bucks County.
Stingers initial solo show at the Mill was held back in 2006 where he painted Summer Shadows in 2005 (see picture) which has become one of his signature works. This years event opens September 7th through September 29th. A Special Artist Reception will be held on September 8 from 1-5:00PM where the artist will be available to demonstrate his painting technique and answer any questions about his paintings. Entitled Plein Air Impressions III, the show and reception will be open free to the public all weekends during the month of September from 1-5:00PM.
John has sold many
of his paintings nationally and won three best in show awards from Warren
County Seniors Art Show in the professional oil painter category as
well as winning a blue ribbon in his last show at the NOVA Art Show
in Doylestown, PA for his painting called Lambertville Sunrise.
His arts and crafts style work has also been featured in several national
magazines including Old Homes Magazine and Cottages
& Bungalows. He has demonstrated his work and donated his
time to all Warren County Senior centers and taught several oil painting
classes for high school students at Warren County Community College.
Also a nationally syndicated political cartoonist, he has demonstrated
his cartoon skills to schools in Bloomsbury, Alpha and Phillipsburg
and has given a number of talks to Warren County art clubs, business
groups, and associations.
Many artists have now re-discovered the beauty of Stover Mill where it sits so perfectly along the banks of the Delaware River. But never content to sit on past successes, John has completed 50 new plein paintings created especially for this show that will be sure to capture everyones imagination. Make plans now to attend.
